one very interesting band and a few great bands as well. Well, for today we can give you

Hell to all!
After a couple of pretty dubious weeks and months, when we didn’t really know whether to keep on doing the festival or not, we decided to run the PFOD Fest on. But fuck the past! Here’s some news and a few details about the fest in the year 2009:
The festival date is Friday and Saturday 4.-5.9.2009, first september weekend as usual.
The original festival place, Pivovarská Flošna, is gonna be torn down, so it’s impossible to continue there – regardless the problems with insufficient space, that we all had to face last year.
We want everyone of you to enjoy the weekend properly, that all the glorious bands have appropriate playing conditions and of course that all the people have decent camping and parking options etc.
Playfast 09 will take place on the Hradec Kralove airport, or more precisely in one of its hangars. Near the hangar, there will be a parking place, a camping place, sanitary facilities, bar and vegan food prepared by Food Not Bombs collective.
The website has been updated, so you can already find there a navigation map and a list of first confirmed bands including info and mp3s. Be prepared for some more very interesting guests!

Last info before start of festival. Last changes in line up: instead of advised TINNER will play Czech hardcore/thrash band SEE YOU IN HELL (www.seeyouinhell.cz).
Opening hours at bar is from Friday 15,00 and from 18,30 will start to play the first band of Play fast Nr.5.See you

Festa Desperato is still without drummer. So instead of them will play new band of Mára from Festa Desperato, EVIDENCE SMRTI, you can await dark crust whereat the dead rise from their graves.

I have bad news! Our Singer can't do the show. He won't get off work, even he took holidays months before. But he is working with disabled children, and one of his co-workers got ill and so his boss told him that his holidays are not possible!
I am REALLY sorry that we have to pull out that late! I was so much looking forward to play the Festival. Meet some old and new friends!
Unfortunatly Julia, our other singer, has her Baby and can't go on Shows at the moment.
Again, I am so sorry to cancel the whole thing!!! I will spread the word through our My Space and our website!
I hope you understand! And I REALLY hope that we can return later for a show!

It was added playlist of both days, check "Schedule" section. Running times of all bands will be added as soon as possible. Town council has gave us a permittion to have a camp near Flosna - The place where is possible to stay will be marked.
Unfortunately CBU from Germany cancelled their gig a few days before festival, we are trying to replace them with some interesting band, we´ll keep you updated.
There's a bad news coming from the swedish DÖDSDOM, the drummer decided to leave the band due to personal reasons, so they won't be playing this year - we announce that instead of dödsdom german CYNESS will be playing!

Sorry for no updates, but a few last weeks were really difficult for us, because we were solving a problem with a headliner of Play fast 07 and also complete line up of the fest. So only a few words - an original plan was to book SAYYADINA (SWE) like a headband for this year and it was arranged practically from last year. Unfortunately for us a few days before printing a thousands of flyers/posters we found out that SAYYADINA will be playing on BRUTAL ASSAULT here in Czech a three weeks before Play fast and due to this fact we decided to cancel a show of SAYYADINA. We are very sorry by this but we have no choice. We cannot afford to pay all costs for SAYYADINA and don´t have a possibility to have them on only one exclusive show in Czech this summer. It´s not possible, sorry!
But we think that the line up is very strong! As well we are proud to announce a confirmed headband for this year which is AGATHOCLES, legend and total cult of grind/mince core style.
Also were confirmed both Finland bands (FORCA MACABRA and KUOLEMA).
Schedule of the festival will be publish probably in August. Check updated section with "bands". Also I would to remind that this year will start at Friday and you can looking for GURKHA´s show (metalpunk like G.I.S.M. from UK), Italian crusties CAMPUS STERMINII or German sludge gloomy hardcore INSUICIETY and others….

Dear friends,
It’s been a year again, so the preparation has begun for your/our favourite festival Play Fast or Don’t, this time no.4. You can be sure – no straight edge or nu metal bands, nor even bands that have clits for breakfast or spill piggy blood – unfornately no mega stage and laser shows as well. The goal for this year is to prepare the party in a way, that it was last year and where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the best DIY bands from all around the world in the wide range of styles from crust to fastcore to the most crushing grindcore.
This year, we decided to make two major changes: this time, we wave goodbye to the sludge stage, although it was a success, joke said twice is not a joke anymore, so for now, all fans of grim suicidal melodies – don’t lose hope, next year is gonna be your time! This year you can prepare yourself for TWO DAYS of noise, full bar, distros and 5-6 bands including some very interesting guests await already on Friday afternoon!! More info later in “program“ section.
Saturday program will continue in the early afternoon hours and the first bands will begin to destroy your eardrums, again visit sections “bands 2007“ or “program“. Sooner or later, this year’s line-up will be updated, so be ready!
And the last thing for now – the place. However hard we tried to find a place for setting up the festival area, we always clashed with bureaucratic walls of municipal office demands and intolerable rent prices including deposit ammounts in the likes of 10000E….which is unbearable for us, as you surely understand. So most probably, Playfast 4 will take place at Flošna (Hradec Králové) – the same place as last year.
We believe, that we will succeed again in making an interesting showcase of the best, that current hardcore scene offers!

Bad info from UNCURBED, although were booked from December after 16 years of party punk existence there have some problems in the line up and guitarist left the band...so UNCURBED is cancelled their show a few days before which is very unhappy for us - a week ago looks like that will play here something like last show but this happen. Check the link for email from Johan/Uncurbed. We are looking for band instead of Uncurbed, please check the web for hot news, we are in contact with bands like Diskonto, Mindflair... Ultra extreme mastification cancelled their show, but we have found a great band instead of them - ALL SYSTEMS FAIL from USA with ex-members of AUS ROTTEN plays agressive hcpunk as fuck! Some changes also on "sludge stage": REDGRAVE from Czech won´t play but we booked CYRUSS from Austria - sludge metal stoner band. Please check web for hot news by a few days will find here chedule of the fest and final compensation for Uncurbed.
